just be careful of leavitts leap at very bottom which must be like 40 feet to running water. that littledeep hole is a serious trap.
i had a mofro siting as well

Nice meeting you Eric and doing a few laps together. Skiing until 10 eh, way to get your money's worth. Impressive!Thanks for letting me ride along with your crew, Silas. Incredible day that just got better as it wore on. Even the thoroughfares were powder runs in the late afternoon. And Alpy graciously kept running until 10, appreciated! -EW

Hey flowing alpy,
I’ve never heard that called Leavitt’s Leap. What’s the story behind it?
Back in the giant La Nina year of 98-99, I had the displeasure of skiing over a blind roll and into “Leavitt’s Leap.” I was able to stop myself before the water, but I think if I had gone to the bottom I would not have survived. I was by myself and finally/miraculously extracted myself hours later (in the dark) as another storm rolled in. I stop by every year and have a look.
