There was avalance warning, stormy weather and I had no partner, so I tried a few runs on the 3 cylinder powered Poma lift. I hadn't been there in more than 20 years but it hadn't changed a bit! There was only about 25 skiers/riders so the 8-12" of powder, in the sheltered northern bowl, on the 105" base, lasted all day! Everyone was very friendly and I enjoyed the very low key atmosphere. The groomers were soft and smooth. It may be the best bargan in the state (lift ticket 32.00) if you consider vertical feet of untracked powder per buck! The poma broke in the morning but the crew had it running again in about 10 mins.
