Got to Alpy just before two, rolling past the SAR staging area on the way in. Condolences to anyone who's lost someone today.

Lapped 2 till it closed, then Armstrong 'till Alpy closed. Largely tracked out, but with lots left for the observant. Very fun. Untracked new snow was at least partially upside down, making touring tomorrow seem less attractive.

Alpental was the busiest I've seen it today after yesterdays near record mini crowd. 1hr delay starting, huge lines until later on but excellent snow indeed. Shocked to hear the news on the way home and yes the dawn patrol tour is out for me tomorrow.
