Summit East - 2/11 was created by cchapin
We arrived around 11:30 to intermittent light rain\snow showers, sun breaks, a very muddy parking lot, and soft, corn conditions. Backside closed till 1 or so. Warm enough in the afternoon that Radka dropped a layer.

Conditions started to firm back up around 2pm when the breeze increased and the sun tucked away behind the clouds for good. Definitely cooled down. Had to clear the goggles a lot from the rolling mixed precip showers.

If anyone accidentally walked off with a pair of pants that wasn't theirs please let me know.

We arrived at 9AM to no lift lines, no wind, blue skies, and butter snow. Beautiful spring skiing with views back to cloud enshrouded Alpental. What a difference a few miles makes in an eastward direction! Lunch at 12 and then a drive over to Alpental for a few runs where it was snowing lightly.

Dedication of the David Pettigrew Education Center between Chairs 1 and 2 at 2PM was inspiring. Thanks to the Pettigrew family and foundation, as well as Alpental Ski Patrol for all they have done and are doing to continue safe snow travel education at all our Washington ski areas.

that light snow added enough to make a thin layer of smooth to the morning groomers
