Interesting day, started with a big Rainier sucker hole over Crystal – yee haa for the first hour or so big warm sunny blue, new snow 2 to at least boot top deep in the right places (wind direction, protection, etc), nobody on the mountain so the rush to do everything was slow and easy (did some pow 8’s of my first run this morning at 1:30 when I was leaving – still nice on the untracked side), anything untracked was still good late today, but anything anybody carving a trench (ME!) was getting a little nasty late, today started big but got a little harder and cooler. Had fun with Jim (the OLD man) and Paul mid day till the end. Did the usual runs (but not to many times since I don’t want to be to hamstery), did a few runs out NW – nice but not perfect at least for me, did EH – mostly untracked nice top not so easy down low – someone told me it looked like Luckshot recently when they did it). Cant talk about parking anymore – but UCBE lot (correction from yesterday post) looked kinda empty (if I really know were it is looking from the bucket ride). Fun day.
