1" rain fell during the time my son and I were there but the snow was just like spring slush and kind of fast and fun. Big yellow poncho worked wonders and no crowds - no suprise there! Really shouldn't have been skiing at all after tearing my calf this week but it felt fine taking it easy.

Day nearly failed in the parking lot when I forgot my son's ski jacket. At age 5 this is kind of a prerequisite especially in a mini pineapple express. Luckily a good samaritan next to me in the lot spotted my distressed state and loaned a rain jacket until next week - do you think you'd find that in Snowbird or Aspen? Lessons saved and he had a blast too so a win-win situation if he likes skiing that much even in the rain.

Thanks mystery jacket lender!

Glad it worked out for you and skiing with your son is great.
But to answer your question....yes I do.

From my personal experience the skier's in UT and CO are just as kind as the skier's in WA.

I haven't been to CO or UT so didn't know, but glad to hear they are just as friendly over there too. I suppose I just picked the biggest, poshest resort I could think of at the time and wrongly figured this wouldn't happen, sorry CO/UT folk! This is the kind of sharing that is just so RIGHT and selfless it makes me smile!
