Early morning firmness quickly yielded to above freezing temps even though it was cloudy. Bear Pits, Doors, Penny Dawg's Right, Bruce's Bowl, Employee Housing, were all big fun. But, it got heavy later and was packing hard. OK today, not tomorrow. It started raining at 1:30 (top to bottom) and will not be nice again till there is more snow. Used it up, but someone had to do it.

Right on, we left early to beat the crowd and there was a crowd, F lot Full. We found chalky snow in Spook Hill and lapped it a few times, real social at the bottom with the line, but what the heck it was a great day in the hills and the folks out North seemed to understand. I was sporting my new helmet, I felt like Charlie O'Connor ( Bay Area Bombers). First helmet I ever put on without a face mask.....Crystal made Bank today........................how much longer do we have before we have off site parking and shuttles from greenwater? Will we see paid parking only at the hill with the rest of us getting bused in from the Claw. Toll roads, pay toilets, bottle water only, you have to make a reservation to eat your bag lunch in the brown bag room, commuter lanes from mid way to the FQ. seasons tickets only by lottery. The brown bag Room today looked like the bottom of the Mayflower for Gods sakes, someone give these people some ventilation or an orange to ward off scurvy....... Crystal made bank today...."rich has nothing to do with money." Sinners \ Dr. Snow

Maybe people realize that the rain was coming tomorrow and made a big effort to get there today. I got there early, but the lines started to stack up everywhere. I blew out of there by 11 as my patience is getting thinner. Good to see the mountain making a dime, but I would rather ski in the rain with no lines or people. I may get my wish tomorrow.
