Really big day. Big sun, big mountain, HC open from the start – first run was PB/PB, did it a few more times during the day and ended with it for our last three runs of the day during the 2 o’clock hour (big way to finish for Spouse #1), it was getting better all day, especially BP’s – yee haa. No crowds, no lift lines, a fair amount more new snow than the early morning report indicated, felt pretty cold most of the day to me, was getting sun heat impacted on the front side of REX during the afternoon – might be a little crunchy early tomorrow. All the shady slopes we did were great. HC was broke for a couple of hours mid day which slowed down the Southback train. Really did not want to stop today. Pay lot was weekend big and more than weekday empty. A few cars in B and C had a fair number (all could have parked in A lot). Roads looked ice skating quality this morning, but all nice on our way home.
