What a difference a day makes, namely 26" of new snow, the last of it falling calm and cold. With Little Cottonwood Canyon closed, we were joined by many more friends than normal. By 930, the skies had cleared, winds were calm, and the powder was light.
I met three new happy skiers each ride up Great West from the singles line and skied untracked powder until 1pm. After that the groomers and cut up snow were too boring so I enjoyed a few hours of sunbathing before heading down the canyon.

I was at Brighton yesterday as well. Great ski day. Coverage was still a little thin in places, but much, much better than Friday (1/20). I was on demo skis and tore up the bases of a pair of solomon shoguns, including taking out a dime-size chunk of ptex.
