January 22,2012. Alpental

Arrived to moderate snow and wind. Race course hadn't been picked up from yesterday which may have slowed opening chair 1. Nash skied great, lower entrance a bit icy. Upper gate stayed closed but Elevator was open. Mostly the standard heavy snow, wind and low visibility that I've come to love. Breakover had plenty of unskied area at 3pm. Lower mountain held plenty of great snow, especially in treed shots until end of the day sweep.

Too foggy for useful pictures. Tuesday could be really nice.
