Not much about today was what we expected…colder, mostly high overcast till sometime after 1pm, more brutal rocks on top of HC, firmer PB, nasty grooming on IceFerkBerg. But the good parts, GV bowl and lower GV nice packed snow (bumps getting bigger), SnortingElk area fun, Hamburger area on HC very nice after a bouncy traverse, Doors 1 and 2 still nice off of REX, smooth enough ski lines still could be found, no lift lines at all, smaller Pay lot than normal, no lift problems, sun (finally) mid afternoon – but then we had to leave a little earlier than hoped for, better weather and conditions than the last two Wednesdays. So, as far as recent Wednesdays go today was a good fun day. ddk
