January 8, 2012 Summit East

Jill and I had a surprise meeting with Hillary and Dale in the parking lot for a quiet morning of cruising.  With the temperatures in the 30's, the groomers were perfect spring conditions.  You could roll onto your edges and scream through the turns.  Things were very quiet until 11:15 then a brief line started to form and it was time to leave.  The sun breaks were short lived but the wonderful spring conditions lasted until we departed.  Let's hope they smooth out the lumps to provide a smooth surface for midweek touring.
