Skied with a friend who was demoing some new boards at Marmot's Demo night -- very light drizzle for a few minutes early on (6:30ish), but mostly dry with occational puffs of fog.
Snow was much better than I expected -- soft granular in the groomed areas with only a very occational firm section. Even more suprizing was the quality of the snow off the groomed runs -- much softer and enjoyable than I expected. Cut up areas skiied well and even the occational patches of unskiied snow in the trees that I picked up were smooth -- not crusty or grabby.
