Dang it, gonna have to do another Marketing report. Almost didn’t go this morning, but glad I did. Fairly light early crowd, got into the A lot a few rows back around 8am, lounged around in the lodge for a while watchin the bucket line grow (folks in line when I arrived), it was to long for me when they started loading, so went up CHex with Ferd and his friend John. Got to the top of REX to see that the FirstTracks crew had some fun in the Valley, it was still good enough for us to do a couple of laps down it and IceFerkberg/Mworld. Then the first few PB folks forced us to go there – sweet! Still a challenge off the top – especially for those that did not know what was under all that nice deep smoke, but Ferd and I got to very fun deep enough blower runs down the center before the crowds really started to show up. Sorry I was pretty lazy and only poked around my “fav” lines which got better as they got packed in and primed for tomorrow. Seem to remember a few hidden rock tweaks, gonna go out at check the skis after this report. Crowds built up to the typical 10:30/11am rush – heard rumors of lots of cars coming up the blvd at that time. Had lots of fun chasing Jim and Paul around the top today. Managed a number of fun PB runs. Heard rumors – in whispers – about how good Right Angle was – but I was to lazy in my typical limited in the box hamster mode to go (sorry Jim). South opened and I got offers to go that way, but by that time I was toast. Left at 2pm – so old and sad – noticed that the Pay lot finally showed up today – big space for them and they looked to get almost all of it. Then the big parking lot views – B and C and D and E lots all full, even a few cars stuck in F – ouch!. Never really noticed much in the way of lift lines – definitely not HC, thankyou. Great day, hopefully tomorrow will be bigger……ddk
