Ahh, another lucky karma day based on the rumors about yesterday….Heard bad things, heard not so glowing weather forecasts, expected the worst…but here comes another Marketing Report!. Blue hints in the sky early for our first ride on the bucket, GV bowl had a dusting of new and very nice carveable bumps, the early morning groomers we suffered (IceFerkBerg and Lucky, plus a few short parts in the Valley) were very nice and the lack of any body on the mountain allowed the groomers to last till long after I left. Had fun with JC and BB, plus bumped into Mr and Mrs Ferk – so much positive fun to be had. Went out NW – still got good places and some not so nice – heard that the main line at the bottom had been groomed and was nice. PB was worth a number of repeats, still know my line and the dusting of new made for fun. Was lightly snowing early with almost clear skies, but mid morning till mid afternoon was pretty big nice sun – and warm, which allowed us a couple of runs in M-World! I enjoyed upper Lucky bumps and Lucky Trees – just soft and smooth enough. SnortElk bowl and skiers right ridge at the bottom before GV chair had pretty nice fun snow. No crowds, no lift problems, Pay lot did not even make a real try, some cars in B and C might have been half full. Another lucky fun positive karma kind of day (we helped a lady with her gear skiers left of Grubstake…we got lots of gold stars for that effort.) Fun fun fun, try again tomorrow and then the big stuff kicks in for the week. ddk
