Dec. 17-19: Whistler-Blackcomb was created by Ross B
So far our 4 day escapade to Blackcomb has been quite fruitful. Saturday presented soft, spring-like conditions that were not powder, but certainly skiable. Spanky's opened late, and Ruby bowl was quite enjoyable. Sunday was certainly the best day so far, with surprisingly great conditions on Couloir Extreme. The day opened with first tracks on said run, and continued as we hit all of the good local spots (Sapphire Bowl, Grey Zone, Hawaii 5 0, and many more) in quick succession and racked up 32,000 vertical feet which I believe is a record for us. Today was quite forgettable, with a touch of dust on a lot of crust in the alpine. We were up on Whistler and the Couloir and Cirque look quite gnarly still.

Ross on full-on alpine gear! Looks like you kind of liked the setup. Did the rental shop know where you were skiing??? Great edit.
