Dang another darn sunny day with relatively small crowds for the beginning of the holiday season. Another day with out any of my core ski buddies around, but everyone else on the mountain has been pretty nice putting up with me so far this season….It was pretty warm to start the day, good groomers early, I was the first customer on HC today, PB is getting more and more challenging to get into, but at least the patrol is startin to shovel some snow around at the top, once your in PB its still very nice all and all. Was a big slush cup day today on the sunny slopes, had fun skiing with Mr and Mrs Ferk most of the morning, out SnortElk bowl, GV bowl and MiddleIceFerkberg – which got really nice and slushy pretty early. Afternoon was lots of front side of REX from M-world to Showtime, all good and getting better and better till at least 2pm. Rocks are showing – gotta say that – but I’ve skied worse rocky conditions (in April), the rocks and brush kinda add some fun keeping your brain awake. Skied later than normal so I could do Kim’s book signing, great lady, got my copy to sell for big bucks some day. Pay lot did a big effort today – but was still half empty, C lot full, cars on B lot. For all you Powder Hounds - start praying a little more - please. ddk
