Big day, big blue, big warm, big screamer soft groomers early, big smooth highspeed PB groomer runs, big couple of runs out Northway again today (I’m trying to build up a bunch of early season runs out that way so I can wimp out a lot later this season), big soft oh so perfect snow from Gullygully to Showtime, big empty chairs all day, big skiing with JD and Mike (the fireman) – hard keeping up with both of them today, big no standing around day. The rest of the story – rocks are getting more challenging off the top of HC, still doable based on lack of skier traffic, but…Northway holding up nicely – at least the two runs I’ve done out that way this season. IceFerkberg is startin to show its age, but was perfect high speed butter early and nice deep mush late today. Managed to get another vert high for the season, been doin a lot of hamster runs this week – AND I LIKE DOIN THEM. Lookin forward to chasing CD all over the mountain tomorrow before the crap hits Sunday. dan
