Crystal 12/6

Might have used up the last of Crystals "100 inch snowfall". Shaded aspects continue to get firmer, and of the shady spots, only Powder Bowl was fun for me. The top of 6 is toast if you value your edges. Sidestep or walk through the rocks. Lots of fun in the sun today, but the sunny slopes went beyond soft, through slush, and into unconsolidated. It will be ugly when frozen. Rocks and brown spots are growing like weeds. Glad I had the rock skis when hitting' the bones today. Crowds didn't matter (front row at 8:20) and only a dozen off piste takers today. Groomers were very firm to icy today and will be all that is skiable without major heat or a lot of snow. Fun day, but my last till it snows again.

Nice pic!!!! Just like what my brain say's I saw yesterday...I can still see a couple of okay with me straight lines through it (minor for me edge dinging) ....lookin forward to checkin it out tomorrow in the icy boiler plate fun - its a HHW Wednesday....gotta do all of those when Crystal is open.
