What a day. Expected not much worse than Saturday even with the morning report temps (whats the date?), any sun would still heat up the snow I assumed….but for all those skeptics out there about my over the top happy condition reports from the marketing department….get ready! Today - Boiler plate grooming early, coral head death anywhere off piste, flat light conditions early, ice skating quality groomers mostly as the crowd smoothed the slopes later, hints of possible sun and heat but it was only sucker spots, no lift lines, but crowded slopes with limited option, best slope – Lower BullFerkRun, at least it was carveable… So there, are you all convinced of the honesty of my reporting? Probably not….Anyway not up to my last day of winter season hopes, but it was better than doing my chores, I can do those tomorrow. Glad I got to ski most of the last week, there were a lot of very nice days. Lookin forward to Thursday and spring season. ddk
