Crystal - 04/15

Dang! Another powder morning. Biggest almost early morning crowd today for this week and with cold early temps, 9” marketing report new (and a lot deeper in some places), filtered sun early, fat skis attached to my feet. The first couple of hours were very nice, lots of spring pow runs – cold nice top and getting progressively heavier down low, so much for any chance of a corn like condition in the near future – maybe mid May. Snow off piste got very heavy very fast today, looks like temps got higher than expected – at least by me. Any untracked mid day was still nice, but anything anyone had cut through was getting pretty heavy – glad I had those fat skies attached to my feet, except maybe on the groomers mid day. Was light somewhat wet flakes mid day, so left pretty early since we got a couple more party days to finish the winter season. Looked like Southback will be the big untracked pow fest tomorrow. ddk

Really fat "skies"....for me...always glad to provide fun for all those that can type and spell really "good"....
