We started the quiet, sunny day with a trip in the north end of the side country. Some crust, some heavy snow, some powder on E and SE aspects. Once back in the ski area on open slopes it was exhausting skiing for me, trap crust and wet chowder. Groomers were fun cruising in the sun, and at the end of the day Double Diamond had small, soft moguls. Tomorrow could be ugly if there is a hard freeze tonight.
