Lisa and I decided on a mini-road trip to use up a Shell 2-fer-1 deal. White Pass had 20" in 24 hours so it was a good choice. We found a mix of vey deep and steep, groomed low angles, and low angles with deep stuff that bogged us down. The new acreage wasn't very skiable, with high winds, ground blizzards up top, and knee deep low angle bogged-down-ed-ness, so we went back to the old area and had lots of steep, deep and heavy. A friendly local freeheeler took me to some steep trees for Roller to the lower main Street exit; nice finale.
Our first time riding lifts here, and my first visit in about 10 years. The views must be great, but I've only seen the inside of the clouds.
