March 29, 2011, Crystal Mountain

Blue skies, calm wind, and an inch of fresh snow greeted us at 9am.  Chair 6 and the Throne opened at 940, after being closed for a few days!   Powder Bowl skied great, but got heavy quickly with the sun.  Everyone got several clean lines off the Throne and basin.  By noon things were getting heavy and by 130pm the forecast 3-8" snow had begun.   Raining at the base for an hour or so around 2PM, then snowing again.
