The snow was great up at the top, anything above 4,500 feet.. So you got a few solid good turns of the high traverse before you ended up in the wet powder clumpy stuff. It didn't look too rain effected, there wasn't any crust on it, but just really wet and heavy. Outside of that, it was a good day, no one was really there so no lift lines.. I guess it's that time of the year.

The snow was surprisingly good. I stayed in bounds all day on chair 2. The far side of Edelweiss was skiing great most of the day, soft boot deep+ with very few tracks. The last pitch above the chair 2 base was fluff over crust till about 1, then the crust softened and was actually great skiing. The top of International to Adrenalin was great, lower international was clumpy, and the lower mountain was nice carvable slush. All and all an unexpectedly good day, especially the fresh tracks into the late afternoon on one of the most obvious faces on the upper mountain.
