Another day, another forecast to ignore…another better than expected pull those dang clawing flying Monkeys out of some dark place kind of day…No crowds, no lift lines, couple new early of smoky cold fluff, some filtered sun at times, snowing pellets most of the day filling in early lines and improving conditions everywhere all day. Skied from BP’s, to a couple of Doors, to Breakover and Sunnyside, the Plunge and IceFerkBerk…all doable and better as the day progressed – not great down low – but doable. Valley runs were good, main bowl, west face, banana (finally for me this season after lots of talk about it), improving Kellys Gap and Lower E ( lower E the last time made me want to jump one more time onto the Gondy…but I’ll save it for tomorrow). Sad part was that it looks like HC has a problem, closed and down all day today and it was not cause of any winds. PB looked big and awesome smooth during some of the early morning sun break. Wanted to ask about it…but … Thanks to JD and SMS for a fun end of season Sunday in March. ddk
