The fog stayed at bay and we skied 6-14" of powder under filtered sun. Skied a very limited area, end of the Chair 6 ridge (where the Southback hike starts) to west side of Avie Basin. Still setting fresh tracks at 1:30 as there were very few skiers on the mountain. Throne Chute and Avie Basin best of the day. West of there and any sunny aspects had a good crunchy layer under the new and also got heavy by day's end. Powder Bowl and Bear Pits good on the top, getting crunchy on the lower half fof each. A few late runs on Grubstake and Memorial were very heavy, took a lot of shade (C3 old chairline) to find the goods.
