It snowed all day last Sunday at Mission Ridge. 

Nice. I skinned up around there yesterday and today. I had feared a crust after yesterday with the wet snow and warm temps, but I found dry snow conditions with ski penetration of 6-8" in most spots with snow depth ranging from 9-12". All ski tracks from monday have been erased. Great snow with the only noticeable crust to about 100' above the lot, just down from the top of the last steep roller on Chak Chak. The crust was supportable though so not bad to ski for those three turns . Thursday will be tits.

Today was so awesome, sunny, clear and cold. Nice new snow. Bomber cliffs got hammered, some really rowdy lines were skied. No crowd, it seemed like locals only, maybe 100-150 people on the whole mountain. One of the most enjoyable days of the season, fresh lines all days.

Don't say I didn't give you the heads up.

Sounds like Friday was the day.  Or as Aaron would tell you Thursday.  The winds kicked up Friday night and must have blown from every point on the compass.  And what wasn't wind affected got radiated by the blazing March sun.  At least for us.  Some locals found the goods.
