Didn’t expect much for today, but things worked out. Heard rumors as soon as I walked into the main floor that REX and GV at least would be open early, but not to expect all day based on forecasts. Got lucky on that part since I left before those two chairs shut down sometime after 1pm. I bailed cause the precip was a little wetter than even I can handle on top, still white and packing in the top – should be a great spring ski season.. Precip was okay white early, got wetter around 10am, so stayed in GV then seemed to get colder, so did a number of BP and Door runs on REX, was snowing hard and filling in tracks nicely, then it just got a little wetter again around noon, back to GV runs – very nice Ann’s and Dan’s and Grubstake Trees. But around 1pm my second pair of gloves wetness made me decide that I had enough for the day. Managed to pull another bunch of clawing screaming flying monkeys out of a dark place. Time off for the next couple of days for me – should be good at Crystal wish I had the time, but we’re heading up to Whistler on Friday for a while….I’m ready!. ddk
