Got to West at about 7am and did 2 laps before heading to Silver Fir, where I then waited 25 minutes till 9:20 before they let us on the lift. Pretty annoying, come on guys, some of us have to go to work and can't ski all day.
12-16" heavy, dense snow. Horrible visibility - I brought the sunlight goggles but it didn't matter because you couldn't see the surface any way. Almost impossible to get any speed going on West. The short and steep runs on Silver Fir (Inspiration, Wild Cat, and Silver Fir\Hollywood) delivered face shots but were pretty well tracked after an hour when I left at 10. Snowed about 3 inches while I was there from 7-10 and there was no sign of it stopping!
Alpental will be great tomorrow.
