Great powder day, got better and better through out the day. Nash gate remained closed all day but elevator was opened, plenty of powder left everywhere. It was one of those days, that it didn't matter what you fell from it was a soft fluffy landing. Only down side was the lines, and chair 1 breaking down a few times.

also powder bowl closed later in the day, and chair 2 was running (even) slower due to the conditions. heard a rumor in the chair 2 patrol shack that the lift was only certified at 75% of speed capacity, so its below capacity all the time. looking at the nwac telemetry and computing the windchill, that slow lift made for some brutal rides at approx -20F. patrol was monitoring several lift towers - i think that had to do with the stopages on lift 1... not sure what exactly that's about... wind and snow i would guess? definitely did get better every hour. i swear the nwac telemetry is low-balling the snow totals... ski patrol monitored sites were reading 9" by 2:30 with several hours posting 2"/hour... had the privelege of riding with a volunteer patroller, so i got to skip the chair 2 lines today
