Another great day, in 2 phases. The morning continued yesterday's cut pow over crunchy ice. The afternoon turned the unskied new into mashed potatoes, but on the skied out lines the ice softened and the new turned to butter. Cold air, warm sun, soft snow, great views. Today's sun won't be kind to the early morning conditions tomorrow when it freezes, but looks like one more afternoon of soft snow in the sun. After that, we'll need more new snow.
