Crystal - 02/08

Very nice today, 6+ and deeper in places – almost enough to hide the boiler plate ice underneath – some places better than others, low angle protected areas in the trees were the best. Did three runs down PB, nice in the middle half, smooth and deep – a little more challenging down low. Good runs could be found around the mountain, coverage is surprisingly good – traverse out to the Throne was very easy – no rocks. Did a run out Northway – should have done it the first time AZ suggested it…but at 1:30 there was still nice untracked lines to find in between all the snowboarders doing the big Master comp on Northway Peak – gotta say they were impressive, even in the icy bumps under the bottom of the NW chair. Fun day, some sun, some clouds, some fog, lots of boiler plate ice under the new…. (hey I think I finally got the right date today ) ddk

Ripped lines all day in Campbell. great under the chair in the trees. low angle was best as anything steep slid away.
