Adam and I decided to head to Baker to check out ON3P's demo days despite the wet forecast. Pleasantly surprised to snow at White Salmon up arrival, with moderate wet snow falling.
The 186 cm Vicik's were my weapon of choice to start, and I wasn't disappointed! The snow surface was firm (but edgeable) with a little new, wet snow on top. These skis had no problem dissecting this snow using a wide variety of turning radii and speeds. The excellent edge grip was nice given the sometimes icy conditions.
Switched up to the 191 cm Wrenegades later in the day, and again was left satisfied. A little more snow had accumulated (esp in the natural halfpipe and Sam's Ridge) and these skis killed it. Definitely a little more work than the Vicik's, but damn they were a smooth ride. No speed limit.
Ended up being a much better day weather-wise than expected, and trying some new skis was a blast. Temps were definitely warming when we left around 1:30, with more rain than snow at White Salmon.

not to threadjack, but our family now has 2 pairs of ON3Ps.
I'm on 191 Caylors and my 16 year old just had his first day out on 181 Wrenegades.
These guys make GREAT skis.
I hope to have some 191 Wrens soon, and between the Caylors and the Wrens I will likely be able to get rid of a huge number of quiver skis. These things can do it all.
16 yr old spent the afternoon skiing with 2 of the ON3P team riders at xtal yesterday and had a fab time. Good peeps, good skis.
