I got there about right at 9, with lots of fog and rain on the road. It started snowing right under the base of the ski area, so it looked promising.
There was about one to two inches of really wet fresh on top of a fairly soft bumpy crust with ice in places. It was pretty decent at first, turning progressively worst as it got skied out. The snow was generally better up high, but even southback was marginal (few good turns at the top). I did find some good turns all the way to the ski boundary edge on northway, but again a few good turns at the top.
The coverage at crystal is actual pretty good comparing to Alpental where I usual go. Best surprise was that the area around high Campbell isn't as rocky as it is normally.. (Only hit a few rocks).
