Jan 23rd Mission Ridge

Joedabaker, PNWBrit( banned) and I met up with Aaron Wright for a nice day of skiing at Mission Ridge.
Like spring skiing on their lovely groomers.
Aaron showed us some nice lines of Bowl 5......thanks Aaron we'll be happy to return the favor when you come to Crystal.
First time to Mission and I was very impressed.

Parking lots with friendly attendants, and as advertised lift lines were down to the river.
Nice to ski on sunny slopes. Aaron is a pretty nice guy and host, not the mean chap wearing ogre that Scotsman makes him out to be.

Nice surprise running into you guys yesterday! Sorry I was too busy to break off and join you for a lap.

Joe, unfortunately your "if you're not first, your last" pep talk didn't work like I had hoped. Both kids raced their second runs well but each stayed in 2nd place in their divisions.

Hate to say it but in my lexicon the phrase "if you're not first, you're last" ranks right up there with, "well, that's ski racing!" when it comes to kids.

Glad they did well. We had a good race weekend at xtal too. We may see you at BW.

We stopped by the race results to see if you were still around, but the race was still on.
Good to see you though, I do hope to ski a lift run or two someday with you.

Nice to meet and ski with you guys, too bad the conditions were marginal and it was so crowded.
