In-coming big time Marketing report – sorry will be the last one till the end of the month – big sun, no crowds (thankyou all that did not show up today…really, very sorry for the core group that did not partake and suffer me today), cold conditions, cold smoke snow – especially out Northway – Ouch! – even for me!....not really that deep but most places we went had a nice smooth frozen layer under boot top+ new smoke….did I say Ouch!...extra bonus was nobody was out there so we had 5 really nice runs….knew it would be good and it was – thanks AZ for being the first to say the N word. Tried other places early – PB (not as nice as hoped for, but at the time it was big), Bearpits (my line was nice first time and only time), Door 4 (I was happy early and it was still nice later), a Sunnyside from the Church – top nice, cat track down not so nice. Door 1 off REX during the afternoon was very nice spring soft slush, did it multiple times– will suck tomorrow morning. Grooming was nice what we did, but IceFerkBerg was not something I wanted to do more than once. Off to Colorado on Friday, good luck all and hope you either get some big new snow or at least some big hot sun, thanks again for a nice day Z's…ddk

I thought I just was going to enjoy an excellent sunny day skiing new over frozen lumps.  Luckily, Northway wasn't open during the rainfest and was nice and smooth under the new snow.  With the lack of participation, we could scope our runs on the ride up and and hour later, still hit them for first tracks.  Agree with ddk that it will be ugly tomorrow when it refreezes.  The sunny slopes got baked, even with a high temp of 17, and the rest was skied to the ice layer.  A much needed brain cleansing day on the mountain.
