Alecapone and I had a fine time riding in the damp. Rain turned to wet snow, the surface was plenty soft, and there was 2-3" fresh with more blown in. Brooks, 7th, DD, and Milll Valley were all closed (due to wind?). There were amost no people- whole runs to ourselves even with limited lifts.
Scott used my older tele setup while I used my new NTN gear. MY rig is a clear step up in power, while his athletic talent was on full display his first day on real free-heeling (he teles on his splitboard).
All in all a surprisingly good day. I almost went back to bed at 5:10 but am really glad I rousted myself.
