After reading the other reports I'd say it sounds like Alpental may have been the place to be today. Chair 1 opened at 9:15 and there was plenty of both light and heavy powder everywhere. Chair 2 opened around 10:00 and Upper International soon followed. The snow on Nash was actually heavier than at the bottom of the bottom and you needed to watch for avalanche death cookies hiding beneath the snow. Still, once you avoided the avi debri it was a fun ride to the bottom.

It was not an "epic" day by any means, but there was plenty of snow to be devoured and it hadn't rained as of noon.

Thanks for the report. My ski buddy and I contemplated bailing on work and family responsibilities for alpy, but ultimately held off. Interesting to see how the "day that could have been" actually turned out for others.
