At least a foot of new overnight in the Village. Alpine Closed P2P closed due to winds Emerald closed due to Avy. Snowed hard all day on top added at least 20 cm. during the day on top probably more. Brought my AT gear but did not dare leave runs. Fantastic Run on Ratfink/Chunkies Choice with my daughter boarding waist deep Powder.
Blackcomb on the 25th tons of new snow but raining in village. Pretty much bottomless when not groomed. Lower gets sticky a guy form Cal. died in a creek last night between zig zag and whitelight. I came to a dead stop on a black diamond with the heavy snow where no one had skied. Emerald and P2P opened today and we also went to Whistler but very windy there. Looks like it will be amazing in a few days.
