Wind impacts governed the day. The previous day's swirling wind scoured the mountain building wind drifts, packing the new snow, and blowing many areas smooth. Lucky for us, the wind died early morning and by mid day, the sun was out. The snow improved with skier grooming and sun but will likely be crunchy tomorrow morning. Mostly stayed on the Frontside, Bear Pits to Memorial for best snow. Southback opened but the heavy wind-packed pow in Campbell Basin didn't push us further out. Lots of aggressive lines doing our best to dig trenches in the wind smoothed Frontside runs. Great day with ddk and BB.

It was my first day out post-knee-surgery yesterday and we had a blast. Conditions were variable, but we found some great snow on the east end of Powder bowl and on the lee aspects in Green Valley and Northway. Lots of fun fast skiing on windpack.

Thanks Silas. Felt pretty rough on the first run, but I was up to full-honk by mid-morning and feeling great. Quads gave out after lunch and I sucked down a beer while Anastasia finished the day.
