The short report. Nice day, lots of sun early, fairly light crowd, but REX problems (lack of lift opp’s to watch the bad sequencer at the bottom) was the only real problem today. Great grooming on the groomer sections I did today. Some late afternoon fog blew in which sent me to a couple of Door runs to finish the day, very nice! A great way to finish the day. Great conditions up on High Campbell, the traverse from hell out to the Throne was pretty nice after the first time through. PB right off the top was a kick. Parking lots did get full, at least B and C/D/E, pay lot looked to make a show of it today. Snow is getting better everyday and should continue for the rest of 2010. ddk

A fine day indeed. Santa does have a list of who is naughty and nice, some of you need to work a little bit harder to get on the naughty list.

Cool pic of Santa. We saw him and he was on a snowboard, had us worried. Excellent day on the mountain. Lots of sun and good snow. Coverage is improving even without much new snow. Will be some good packed pow and the icy spots will likely "dry out" with the cold and wind the next few days as some area were already turning into carvable styrosnow today. 12 degrees in Green Valley mid-day, brrrr.

We all wished we'd worn one extra layer after the ice cloud descended, but the skiing was a blast, with a mix of mostly packed powder, a little avoidable "frozen granular" here and there, and some nice semi-cut powder hanging out in pockets all day.
