And I gotta say I always try to treat them with respect and they probably think - who is that old geeky guy - but its not that I disrepect them, its that they havent been in the lot before this season and it shows in the way the cars are getting parked....what the heck the lift lines in peak season are even worse - whats with that? ddk
Lift line chaos? All I can say Dan, is that there is a lot of mismanagement from the managers. The few days I did work, it was total havic. Like a Chinese fire drill. No organization. Once Jace left, the lift op dept went to pieces. I hinted around that I would like to be the Lift Super. I don't think Crystal wants to fork out the extra dough for that position anymore. So they have the Lift Mechanic Super handle the lifts. IMHO, it is not working. Oh well, maybe they'll just hire a bunch of monkeys to run the lifts and pay them with bananas. LOL!!

I've had 10 agonizing days and nights as a result of a liftee as my leg is still swollen, (my ankle still not visible under the swelling) black and blue, and tender to the touch. And not a word of response from my 2 e-mails to Crystal. I guess I'll pass on the notion of giving a financial tip to a liftee.
Keith, have you gone to the doctor?. That is looking serious.

Boy oh boy, the Lift Access thread is a poppin'! I've never had too much of an issue with any of the CM staff. I have more of a problem with snotty patrons than anything else. For the sake of argument, some people should definitely pull the silver spoon out of whatever orifice it is lodged.
I agree, from my experience so far it's all been pretty good and even the snotty patrons seem to be behaving. I have yet to see my first lift maze fight.... which is very disappointing cuz I think they are funny. I'm having a blast and think Crystal is doing a really good job. I'm looking forward to the Wed gondola opening so I can sit and have a cigarette in comfort for a change.
Whenever I get a bad bump on a chair from an inattentive liftie... I just remind myself that I could be getting my legs beaten by Sudanese soldiers or my family dying from cholera in Haiti and my hedonistic life comes into perspective.
