***12/11/10 – First chair at Silver Fir under overcast sky. Outback was decently groomed and easy to ride. Off-piste was tough on this side – 2” crust over 6” of mank at the base. Better quality over at the top 2/3rds of Central express on both Golden Nugget and Alpine bowl. Got in 9 runs before the sky started shedding dandruff at 0950, right on schedule. Low crowd count made for painless lift waits and no jamming up out on the runs. Not going to bother with Sun or Mon – looks like it’s going to be wet and nasty up there with a 7K freezing level.
