I was up there yesterday 12/11 with a friend. We had hard snow all day and a little more wind than I cared for, but it was a great day. Probably mid-chin as well. The tracks kept getting covered by wind and snow. The car had 6 inches on it when we left. There are plentiful fun tree lines in the expansion, and we got fresh lines every run down. The nooks and crannies are fun to explore, and there are some surprisingly steep little pitches, windlips, and drops that we came across. Much of it, however, is painfully flat. The terrain is interesting enough though, supposedly the views are amazing (we didn't get to sample that yesterday), and it will really help take the crowd pressure off the main quad.
In the afternoon we moved back to the old school portion of White pass and still found plenty of stashes in the Star Wars trees, upper roller, and a shockingly untracked line down the skiers left side of Hourglass.
