Alpental, 12/4

Much better coverage than i would have thought, though I did take a nice core shot before, not in, the entrance to Nash, which was by far the best skiing. Nice chalk all over that run.

**12/4/10 – . Silver Fir suffered a minor mech trouble during startup, so first chair loadup with Snowsurfer wasn’t till 0940. Great weather, so-so snow with the low total so far giving us dicey groomage with steps between many passes. Out in the boonies was easier for boarders than two plankers with a funny collapsible layer a little ways down. Spotted a pin-tailed snowskate – the guy said it was a scary ride but fun. Best snow we found on our grand tour of the southside seemed to be over on Thunderbird & lower Wildside @ West of all places. TomK & Kerry.
