Big Sky, 3/1/10

Skier8484 and I made it to Big Sky this morning and were approached by someone trying to sell the final day on 2 three-day passes for $60 total. We quickly accepted and immediately hopped the lone peak tram to the incredible views off the top. We found basically everything tracked out, but N aspects were edgeable and smooth in the morning, and by afternoon the S sides were corning up. This was my first time there and I was thoroughly impressed by the size of the ski area and the terrain that they have. Highlights of the day were the couple of laps through big couloir off lone peak and a few more on A-Z chutes. Great area.
