Some of my buddies noticed the following on the Stevens website:

"The Southern Cross/Double Diamond lift has experienced a gearbox failure and the parts are not readily available. Our lift maintenance manager is working with the distributor to get them as soon as possible, however currently there is no clear timeline. "

the rumor I heard today was it would be at least two weeks, bummer for stevens... :-[

That could make for some nice skiing on that side of the mountain if we get some new storms.

I did a few laps above Tye today, Horsehoe Bowl was o.k. 3-6" of Styrofoam not many tracks of course with double being broken. The woods below the bowl are ugly. Chief Bowl was cut up crusty.
