Thursday - Good Skiing!

Good Snow, cold enough, minimal winds.  Overcast - cloud deck lifted upward during the day with wisps of something that looked blue. A moment of sunlight.

Wish I had caught that pow dump the day after.  It it had been pow like... it has gotten heavy or has gone through a warm-up/re-freeze cycle.  Don't get me wrong, off groom was skiable. Just not fluffy. Some of it seemed a little crusty.

Groomers were all good.

The snowpack is slowly accumulating like my 401k.  Still there are some thin spots and an odd rock.  Steep groomers have good packed snow surface.  Hmmmm... why are those moguls at the end of the Snorting Elk Bowl sorta-track always so icy?  Otherwise, Snorting was all good.

Did some tree skiing, watched the Powderbowl skiers.  One of our guys fell head first into a tree well.... I figure the snow on the steep collapsed.

Solid ski day.

The ice trail down to the Snorting Elk Cellar had some snow on it!  After several weeks, they finally posted warning signs!

I hate I had to be at work and I hate you guys for "powder Dogging" it up. Cheers to you guys, I'm going to get the left overs tomorrow.
