I'm rejoicing for my comrades in the PNW and the snow dump received last night.
Yesterday at Brighton was a day made even better by hooking up with TAYer DPerlin.
Temps in the low teens and snowing lightly on arrival. The almost foot of new snow was so light and fluffy that it didn't cover the bumps from the day before but as much smooth skiing as desired was found in the trees. The snow was so deep that the 1080 guns were put away after two runs and out came the fatypus'.
Unlike Saturday, Sunday there were half as many people. The sun struggled to shine through the cloud and eventually it did in the afternoon as we skied in powder, super cold temps and sunshine. By the end of the day the kids had put luge like runs through the trees which were fast and exciting.

Morning Keith, it looks in Pic 3 that you guys are about to drop in to some nice looking trees. Jeez, that's some sweet looking snow, but you're right, the next few should be good here, too.
I've always thought it would be nice if areas around here would thin more of the tree runs to be more like what you can find in the Rockies.
Tear it up !
